Change :// the way we use mushrooms
Well I think some of you know by now, that when I get a bee in my bonnet, well the passion purpose level rises to extremes.
What can I say? I got a thing for healing people.
Case in point: Mushrooms
So, I’ve loved them for long time, but only more recently as I dive deeper into all the studies, do I even scratch the surface of how incredible Mushrooms truly are and so the love story begins. The Future is Funghi, people, and I think a few scientists might just agree with me.
There are so many studies ongoing and completed about the incredible medicinal properties of Mushrooms, that to be honest, the field is so deep with possibilities that what may be found are really endless opportunities. But one thing is certain, there’s some super healing powers in these super fungis.
Ok, I am not talking about your portobello burger, I mean thats great, but with over 270 species of mushrooms known, the possibilities are that the world is our oyster mushroom. And no I am not talking magic mushrooms either, although they are magical and yes there are studies ongoing about hallucinogenic mushrooms as well.
But where I am at….is Medicinal Mushrooms. They have been linked so strongly to immune related diseases and cancer that the medical community is finally supporting the overwhelming evidence to show their ability to completely heal. No I can’t make those kind of claims, but it’s no surprise to me that we are starting to hear more and more about funghis and their incredible effects and how we might be smart to start integrating them into our day to day life. Maybe just maybe we will then look at treating disease and dis health by what nature is growing from its own floor. Think about it…every step we take, the earth is constantly working synergistically to repair that ground floor. If it can do that in mother nature, whats to say we are any different?
I could go down the rabbit hole, but for the sake of keeping your interest… Lets talk about the big 5 and what we can expect from them now…

how do you recommend consuming these? in a supplement form or cooked? any suggestions on how to cook them?
Hi Mandeep!
Thank you for asking, and I really should have included that in my post! Perhaps I will do an add on…
So for the most part, the mushrooms I mentioned here I would take via supplement. So this could be through tincture, or powder (which you can put in smoothies etc), even tea. They are becoming more readily available as they become “buzz” worthy ingredients. One company I love that has an assortment of products is Harmonic Arts. Not only is their quality beautiful but so is their company and they make several different forms that you can integrate into your life.
I hope this helps!
I love Chaga tea and have been buying mine from Harmonic Arts for about 5 years! I first discovered Chaga through a raw cooking class with Feed Life and have tried to incorporate it into my life as regularly as possible.
It’s so powerful right?! Good for you. Your bod is pretty thankful for it.
