This is one of those recipes. One thing many people struggle with, is getting rid of their sweet tooth, and while sometimes that can mean eliminating trigger foods, if we can learn to have elements of these foods that provide nutrition we are hitting a one two punch.

Don’t like the taste of Lavender? Leave it out. Include more vanilla or other spices.

RECIPE
vegan, gluten free, refined sugar free
Makes 12 mini or 6 large portions
INGREDIENTS
3/4 cup Chia Seeds
1 can full fat Coconut Milk
1 cup SoFresh Almond milk or your favourite brand
1/2 cup Maple Syrup
2 Tbls rice syrup (or other liquid sweetner)
1/4 cup Cacao powder
1/4 cup Carob
1-2 tsp dried lavender
1/2 tsp himalayan salt
METHOD
The beauty of chia seeds. They make everything so easy.
This recipe is as simple as dumping, blending, and setting.
In your vitamix or blender combine all your ingredients minus the lavender and salt. Blend on high until beautifully thick and smooth.
Add in your lavender and salt, tasting as you go, lucky you, until the right flavour profile is met for you.
Pour into individual glasses or pots, you can make many mini or 6 large portions.
Allow to set overnight or for a few hours until a nice thick consistency is reached.
Top with Coconut whip if desired…I mean why wouldn’t you?
Garnish with a few florets of Lavender and voila,
